What do you offer?
- Friendly staff – I can’t promise we can answer everything, but we will try our best to help you.
- Access to our small but concentrated collection of books, reports, periodicals, slides and drawings archive, relevant to the subject of landscape architecture.
- Free access to our online library catalogue where you can search for items to borrow or find article references to journals that may be in your own college library. If you can’t find what you are looking for, suggestions for new purchases or comments on any aspect of the catalogue or library services - Please email katel@landscapeinstitute.org.
- Loan service for members - To borrow something you can just email katel@landscapeinstitute.org.

To access the library catalogue, you don’t actually need to register or login, but once you have been added on our catalogue system you can obtain login details. This will enable you to view your borrower/loan record and set up email alerts for new items in stock, - more options will be available in due course.
But I’m nowhere near London! – No problem, the library catalogue is online and available for all to search, you can also call or email the library staff if you need any help, for paid up members (that includes student members) we also offer a postal loan service.
What will this cost? Annual membership covers it, for postal loans we just ask you to pay the cost of 1st class postage when returning books to us – we do charge for overdue books though.
