Slic summer school
Published by laurabradley June 21st, 2004 in Events, NewsThe slic summer school went off with a bang in Nottingham this week with around 50 students attending. Activities included walking tours, exhibitions and workshops as well as overlapping activities with the Landscape Institutes own 75th anniversary conference. A free drinks reception thursday evening with the attending professionals led on to either a night on the town or the summer dinner. Further news will follow about the event when we’ve recovered.
Did you attend? If so let us know what you thought, praise or criticism gladly received although be gentle we’re still suffering!
thank you everyone who came to summer school, we really enjoyed it and hope you did too!
Jist wanted to say thanks to everyone who made the summer school a success. It was a great couple of days and, barr the odd hospital visit, everyone emerged unscathed, seemingly having had a good time. Please write and tell us what you think, good or bad!

Hey Omar, we have an event in the pipeline. It will be running in Edinburgh (nice and local) in June 2005 coinciding with the IFLA conference. Information will be displayed online in the upcoming weeks. Also, if you speak to Jemma, you’re SLIC representative at ECA, she may help.
All the best, I hope this helps!
