The calendar competition attracted loads of entries and in a secret location the judges have chosen the winners.The overall winner was Matt Parker from Kingston University, and he won a cheque for £250. His entry will be featured on the front of the calendar and then again with a specific month.

The winners of the £100 cash prizes were:

• Emma Baker Leeds Metropolitan University
• Chris Laine, University of Greenwich
• David Livesey, Manchester Metropolitan University

All the cash prize winners also received a free ticket to the SLIC Summer
School.

The judging panel were - Rod Edwards, president of the LI, Lucy Garrett,
Chair of SLIC, Nigel Thorne, VPLI, Suzanne Mansfield, Council Member for
Science and Noel Farrer MLI.

Look out for the calendar in 2005 (you’ll have to be a member to get one), titled ‘Dangerous Landscapes’ it should be far more interesting than this years black and white photos of poor old llamas!!
