As the student representative body, SLIC shall be committed to working proactively to promote student interests and articulate student views within the LI.
In fulfilling this role SLIC shall aim to
- be receptive and responsive to our fellow students;
engage students in the life of the profession;
encourage and facilitate communication between the landscape schools in the UK.
SLIC shall be committed to developing and maintaining close links with the Landscape Institute, seeking to influence policy, and where necessary, to initiate change.
In projecting a youthful fresh image and in displaying our commitment and enthusiasm for the profession, SLIC will endeavour to promote landscape architecture to all, and attract future generations to the profession.
