We promote creative and sustainable designs for the whole human
environment whilst supporting a distinctive identity for landscape architecture in Scotland. Edinburgh is a great place to study in, with so many examples – both historical and modern – of landscaping and planning; and with the interaction with the art students of the college, inspiration comes with ease. Study tours, student exchanges and joint study projects give us the opportunity to learn from other geographic and cultural contexts. The school prides itself on its strong international relations, with the number of students going to study abroad increasing and the large number of foreign students coming into the school. we work closely with our tutors to enable us to maximise our knowledge, analytical skills, studio-based skills, oral communication and our creativity, to produce graduates that have the ability to contribute to the advancement of their chosen profession, either through practice or research.
